About Sitaram Jindal Scholarship

Sitaram Jindal Scholarship is a merit-cum scheme that Sitaram Jindal Foundation started as a scholarship. That is a charitable trust in Bengaluru aimed at encouraging the education of the deserving and needy applicants.

The intent of this scholarship is to provide financial aid for their bright future to interrogate students. Only Class 11 students are provided this scholarship to PG. The scholarship provides monetary help to those applicants that are worthy and prepared to carry forward their research. Rs.2500 per month and other allowances will be offered to selected learners.

It needs to be observed that this scholarship includes classes in specialized Polytechnic and Diploma technical instruction.

Jindal Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship is split into categories depending on the applicants’ academic level. To get maximum advantages, students must meet the eligibility requirements. This scholarship’s eligibility criteria include family revenue, academic background, and much more. Check your eligibility through the table below.

Category ‘A’Applicants must be class 11th to 12th Male applicants in the past exam must have scored at least 65 percent marks and girls candidates must have scored at least 60 percent marks.
In the event of girls, students from Karnataka and West Bengal must have a minimum score of 75% mark (boys) and 70% mark.
The annual earnings of the family (who are employed) must not exceed 4 lakh.
Annual family earnings should not have exceeded 2.5 lakhs for other applicants Must not have passed 30 years of age.
The candidates are required to complete ITI classes from any government or private institution.
Category ‘B’ ITI StudentsThe candidates are required to complete ITI classes from any government or private institution.
Male applicants must have a minimum score of 505 marks and female applicants must have a minimum score of 40 percent marks.
The annual earnings of the family (who are employed) must not exceed 4 lakh.
Annual family earnings should not have exceeded 2.5 lakhs for other applicants.
Must not have passed 30 years of age.
Category ‘C’Candidates are required to study in PG and are qualified to apply for graduate courses.
They must have obtained 60 percent marks for applicants for women.
They must have secured marks of 65 percent for boys applicants.
Karnataka and West Bengal students must have secured marks of at least 70% marks (boys) and 65% marks (girls)
The annual earnings of the family (who are employed) must not exceed 4 lakh. Annual family earnings should not have exceeded 2.5 lakhs for other applicants Must not have passed 30 years of age.
Category ‘D’ Diploma coursesCandidates must attend classes such as Civil Engg, Computer Science, Chemical, Automotive, Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy, and classes linked to the environment.
At least 60 marks (boys) and a minimum of 55 percent marks (girls) must be obtained by applicants.
The annual earnings of the family (who are employed) must not exceed 4 lakh.
Annual family earnings should not have exceeded 2.5 lakhs for other applicants Must not have passed 30 years of age.
Category ‘E’ Engineering & Medicine CoursesCandidates are required to study classes in engineering, medicine, and architecture.
This system is not eligible for MDS learners.
In the last qualifying exam, male applicants must have scored at least 70 percent and females must have received at least 65 percent marks.
Karnataka and West Bengal students must have obtained a minimum of 75 percent marks (boys) and a minimum of 70 percent marks (girls) The annual family income (who are employed) must not exceed 4 lakh.
Annual family earnings should not have exceeded 2.5 lakhs for other applicants Must not have passed 30 years of age.

Note: The eligibility percentage criterion for applicants with different capabilities is that in all categories they should have scored passing marks. The minimum necessary percentage of relaxation for Jindal scholarships to continue is 5 percent.

  • Category – A: 11th and 12th Classes students Rs.500/-
  • Category – B (ITI Students): For Govt ITIS it is Rs.500/-. For Private ITIS it is Rs.700/-.
  • Category – C: Graduate Courses Like BCA, BBA, BBM, B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BFA, B.Sc. EVS, Env Engineering Bachelor of Business Economics/Finance.
    • General Category: For Girls – Rs.1000/-, For Boys – Rs.800/
    • Physically Challenged or Handicap Students – Rs.1000/-
    • Widows & unmarried wards of Ex-servicemen – Rs.1200/-
  • Category – D: Diploma courses for all streams Girls – Rs.1200/-, Boys – Rs.1000/-
  • Category – E: Engineering & Medicine Courses
    • Graduate Engineering Courses (all streams): For boys – 1500/- for girls 1700/-
    • Graduate Medicine Courses including Dental, B.Pharma, M.B.B.S, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda: For boys – 1800/- for girls 2000/-
    • PG Courses Engineering & Medicine Courses including Naturopathy, M.Pharma, Homeopathy, Surgery (excluding MDS): For Girls – Rs.2500/-, Boys – Rs.2300/-.
  • For students staying in the hostel
    • Additional amount for hosteler of ITI/Diploma, Grad./PG Courses – Rs.800/-.
    • Medical & Engg.Courses (including PG Courses) – Rs.1200/-
