NEET 2022 Counselling dates have been released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on its official portal. The process of NEET 2022 Counselling will be held online. To participate in the Counselling process, candidates need to register themselves on the official site of MCC- mcc.nic.in.
According to the schedule, the registration process for round-1 Counselling will begin from October 11, 2022. Choice filling for round 1 NEET 2022 Counselling will be available from October 14 to October 18. Round 1 seat allotment result release date is Oct 21. The last date for taking admission against a seat allotted in the 1st round of NEET UG 2022 Counselling is October 28, 2022. The second round of NEET Counselling 2022 will begin from November 2, 2022.
NEET 2022 Counselling will be held by MCC for 15 percent of the All India Quota (AIQ) and by the respective state authorities for 85 percent of the State Quota seats. Per the state quota counseling schedule released by MCC, the respective authorities must complete round 1 of MBBS/ BDS counseling from Oct 17 to Oct 28, 2022. State NEET Counselling has already been started by various state authorities, including Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland, Punjab, and Odisha.

Round 1 NEET 2022 Counselling Dates
For All India Counselling, the round 1 counseling (including registration, choice filling, and allotment processing) will continue from Oct 11 to 20, and the allotment result will be out on Oct 21, 2022. Allotted candidates have to report at the college from Oct 22 to 28.
Round 2 NEET 2022 Counselling Dates
Round 2 counseling is scheduled from Nov 2 to 10, 2022. The seat allotment result for round 2 candidates will be released by MCC on November 11, 2022. The last date for joining the allotted institute is November 18, 2022.
Round 3 NEET 2022 Counselling Dates
Round 3 or Mop Up round counseling will be conducted from November 23 to December 1, 2022. The Allotment result will be announced on December 2, and reporting at the allotted institute will be open from December 4 to 10, 2022.
Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Dates
In the stray vacancy rounds, fresh registrations will not be allowed. The allotment result will be released on December 14 and the last reporting date will be December 20, 2022.
NEET 2022 Counselling Process and Fees
Candidates who have qualified for NEET 2022 Cut off and want to participate in the All India Medical Counselling need to register online on the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee.
NEET 2022 Counselling process comprises online registration, choice filling and locking, allotment of seats, and reporting to the college. For NEET 2022 round 2 and round 3 Counselling, aspirants who have already registered for round 1 counselling will not have to register again.

Online Registration
For registration, aspirants need to register themselves on the official portal of MCC and click on the ‘New Registration’ link. Enter details like the NEET 2022 application number, password, and security pin.
Payment of UG Counselling Registration Fee
Candidates can pay the fees through various online modes like Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The registration fee for NEET 2022 Counselling is INR 1000 for GN and INR 500 for reserved categories.
Online Choice Filling and Locking
After completion of the registration process, aspirants need to fill in and lock the choices by logging in to their registered account on MCC.nic.in. Candidates are advised to choose the colleges in order of preference.
Seat Allotment Result and Reporting
Based on the choices filled in the registration form, seat availability, and the rank obtained, a seat allocation list will be prepared after each round of Counselling. To complete the admission process, aspirants must submit all the documents and allotment letters to the allotted colleges. NEET 2022 Counselling will comprise four rounds- Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round, and the Stray Vacancy Round.
